2017
I turned 50 in2016 and wanted to mark the occasion with doing lots of lovely things and explore new directions in my work by taking a creative sabatical. Two pieces I am particularly pleased with are the Lapwing automata and Pecking Blue Tit on a milk bottle. The Lapwing is a one off but I have turned 10 Sycamore Milk bottles so a batch run will be made of the tits and available in the future to buy.



2015 Highlight - Hebden Bridge Twin Towns.
I was delighted to be asked by Hebden Bridge Town Council to Make three Automata to celebrate the towns twinning with St Pol and Warstien. Each to be identical and presented to the Mayors when they visited. The characters were to represent the three people types of the towns.
Work for Bridge Mill Gallery in Skipton which included a piece titled Two Sisters to appeal to the restaurant next door.

Summer has been good fun making an automata of myself. This commisioned piece is for Carbaret Mechanical Theatre and will be going to San Francisco for an Automata Exhibition in the Exploratorium.
New works for Art UnPacked. On the theme of sheds three automata are part of this touring exhibition.
