A commissioned Golden Wedding automata for Sue and Dave from their four daughters. An automata that captures the couple at home on the sofa with their dog Bertie. Making a piece like this takes approx 6 weeks working from photos and sketches.  I took particular care to get the couples likeness and an interaction between the two. The mechanical output is both Sue and Dave  turn to look at each other and Dave pats Sues legs while she stirs a cuppa. Bertie looks up adoringly at his master.
