Charming hand crafted folk art figure lathe turned, carved and hand painted. Housed in an old singer sewing machine drawer. Anne is reading the novel she is most associated with ‘The Tennant of Wildfell Hall’. The book has been made by Landau House, who specialises in miniature 1:12 scale vintage books.
When turning the handle Anne ’s head moves from side to side as if reading aloud and her arms slightly shiver.
Based on brother Branwell's famous group portrait.
